Why Our Kibbe Test Is Different

Most online Kibbe quizzes shortcut to five categories. Ours follows the real structure of the system and shows the tally behind your result.

1

All 13 Types

The full set of image identities, not a simplified five-category version.

2

Authentic Letter Tally

Answers are scored A to E and tallied, which is how the system actually works.

3

Your Tally Shown

You see the count for every letter, so you can check why you got your type.

4

Three Sections

Bone structure, body flesh, and facial features are asked separately, as Kibbe intended.

5

Pure Types Reachable

A single odd answer will not push you out of a pure type into a blend.

6

Alternatives Suggested

If the result feels off, the other types in your family are listed to compare.

How the Kibbe Body Type Test Works

Tally

What the Test Measures

Each answer places one trait on the Yin to Yang spectrum.

B — Soft Yang

Broad, blunt, open. Points toward the Natural family.

C — Balanced

Symmetrical and moderate. Points toward the Classic family.

D — Mixed

Small scale with contrasting edges. Points toward the Gamine family.

E — Extreme Yin

Soft, rounded, delicate. Points toward the Romantic family.

Primary And Secondary

The dominant letter picks the family; the secondary picks the exact type.

Kibbe Body Type Test FAQs

1

How accurate is an online Kibbe test?

+

It depends on how accurately you read your own bone structure and flesh. Answer about your natural frame rather than your current weight, and treat the result as a strong starting point.

2

Should I answer based on my current weight?

+

No. Kibbe assesses bone structure and natural line. Answer about your skeleton and overall proportions, not your size at the moment.

3

What if two letters tie?

+

The tally shows every letter. If your top two are close, read both candidate types and see which style lines actually work on you.

4

Why did I get a blended type instead of a pure one?

+

A pure type needs a strongly dominant letter with no substantial secondary. If a second letter appears often enough to be a real pattern, it refines your type into a blend.

5

Can my Kibbe type change over time?

+

Not usually. Bone structure sets most of it, and that does not change. Flesh can shift with weight, but it is only one of the three criteria.

6

What is the difference between Kibbe and body shape?

+

Body shape compares bust, waist, and hip measurements. Kibbe assesses bone structure, flesh, and facial features to describe your overall line, so many people use both.
